Radio Show

1.) My Opinion Toward the story is good. I like it. It was real funny even though it was racist.
2.) The way the officer was speaking to Cleverland was as if he was accusing him of someting. The way the other Officer spoke to Noah was as if he was a victum.
3.) Noah Spoke to the Officer like he was clueless to what he was talkin about or even why they stopped them. He sounded like a child. The way Cleveland Spoke to the officer was like he didnt do anything. Like he was trying to prove he did nothing wrong and also embarressed and tried of always getting pulled over.
4.) There were Steryotypes in this story. Noah said that he was mad that Cleveland always gets taken away because he is black. He was tried he gets accused of being a rappist. Also when the officers noticed it was a black man with a White kid they decided to pull him over.
5.) The officers finally believe him when they call Noah's  mother and asked her if she knows where her son is and she explains that he is getting picked up by Cleveland.
6.)I think that Ms Edwards picked this story to compare To Kill a Mocking Bird to the stroy. In the book a black man is being accused of rapping a white lady. This might just be because he is black and hated on. It was worst back then though. She might have wanted to show that things are kind of the same as they were back then. Black people are expecting of doing things they really dont do and that they are still kind of discriminated on.

Shooting Lennie

I think that when George Shot lennie He was trying to be a good friend. I think he was trying to save Lennie from all the suffering. If I was put in George place I would have never shot my friend.I Would have also made sure Curly didnt either. I would rather have him go to jail then take his life away.   

Holloween

The most popular holloween charcter this year are popular actors or singer. this year i think Mickel Jackson will me the most popular character. lots of people look up to him and since he was the greatest singer in all times he would be the most worn costum. this holiday was brought to celebrate the dead. most pople only celebrate it just to get free candy. i think that the most poplular costums back in the days might have been vampires and any type of scary monster.. it could have also been simple things like pumpkins.

My Version

If I were the director of Mice&Men i would pick Tom Cruise to play George. i Pick him becuase he could fallin into the old fashion look and he is also a very good actor. And i would pick  Adam Sandler to play Lennie because he did a great job in The Water Boy! For Curly's wife i would pick Megan Fox becuase she has a flirty look and that would fit in for Curly's wife. i would pic Taylor Launtner to play Curly becuause he is small but buff. He looks like he goes hard just like Curly. Iwould pick George Clooney to play slim because he is older looking and look like a person that get respected alot. i would have the setting of the story to be in Texas because it give it that old cowboy kind of look.

Thoughts of Mice&Men

Ithink Mice&Men the book is very good. I always think a book is better then a movie because it helps understand the characters better. It tell u what there thinking and is more specific about where they are.

Puppies have a Heart as well.

I find what Carlson did was very Wrong. He didnt kill the dog because of his health. He Killed the dog because he didnt like the way it smelled.i think that the dog should have been allowed to live. i think it is wrong to kill animals. they should live a long life like any human would. If someone tried to pressure me into killin my dog i would have said no. Dogs have a heart and feeling of there own. they have a mind they understand you. iuf u tell u dog to sit it sits. if u tell it to get up  it gets up. when ur talkin about killing it knows. Most dogs are a mans bestfriend.Yes, you can replace a dog but not with the same one. Carlson should have never perssured Candy into killing the dog. He should have left it alone and let Candy do what he wanted with his dog.

School!

Some things in School i like is that we get to see our friends everyday. Some things i hate is that we have to get up so early to come to school. i also dont like how packed the school is. this school is pretty big but then again it has so many students. When starting this school year i hated it because it was a new school new people and new classes. For some reason i just dont like Change. I was upset because i never got to see any of my friends from last year. But after time i got use to it because i didnt want to chang classes because thats just more change! So i had to get use to it and just live with it. I Started making new friends and thought they are not like my best friends they are very nice. There are some classes where i have no friends in and im just always quiet but sometime i like that because it give me time to focus on my school work, this year i made a promise to myself that i would try to do very well in school and so far it is working. i think it is just because i dnt see my firneds and thats just less distractions. i also like how the school changed the rules and cant take away Credits for being late to class.

If i was to create my own school i would have it start no later then 9. i think this is best because it would give the student more time to sleep,therefor they will be more focused. i would make sure there were more security soo that there wouldnt be as many fights and peple would stay safe. i would also allow the kids to go off campus for lunch. I feel like the students should have a choice in what they eat. Also it might not be just because they dont like the food but becuase there are so many people at the school and only 2 lunched the lunch lines are verylong and taked lots of time to get there food. i would rather go to a fast food place and get my food fast eat and come back to school to hang out with friends for the rest of lunch. i would find this to be a good school.

Im a 14 Year old girl named Helena Moges. I used to attended Takoma Park Middle School. Now im Attending Blair High School. Some of my hobbies are Step. Last year at Takoma Park Middles School i was the caption of the team. I really enjoyed Takoma and hoping i will also enjoy Blair. Some of my Favorite music is Rap,R&B, Rock , and Gogo Sometimes. My favorite types of food is pizza and i love slim jims.in my free time i like to hang out with friends or watcha tv. some of my favorite shows are Jersy Shore,70's Show,and Runs House. My opinion Toward the Blog is good. im happy we get to do this because it would allow me to express my self and have my firends read it. I like to write alot and this would give me time to show it off. I am a very Happy person when im in a good mood. When im madd i can hold a grudge. I also love to give advice to my friends and family.
